Protect the Arts! - Membership Drive

April 29, 2005

Dear Columbus Arts Supporter:

Great things continue to happen at the Columbus County Arts Council! Whether it’s the popular Boxed Lunch Series, Children’s Art Workshops, The Gift Gallery exciting exhibits, or NC’s largest student art show: Celebrate the Arts; something is always happening at CCAC!

Our membership drive for 2005-06 focuses on maintaining our ongoing projects as well as funding the day-to-day operations of the council. This focus can only become a reality through the generous support of our community. Help us Protect the Arts in Columbus County!

As we begin our membership drive for the 2005-06 year, Protect the Arts! we have a wonderful opportunity for new and renewing members to support the mission of CCAC and win a Commissioned Portrait by local artist Kenneth White.* Anyone who joins or becomes a renewing member at the Arts Advocate level ($100) or above, by June 30, 2005, will be eligible for a drawing to win this extraordinary work.

Donors at the Arts Advocate level and above will also receive a copy of our 2004 Brady- Kendall Purchase Award, Penland Meadow by Janet Sessoms (copy enclosed). Family and individual memberships are also available (see enclosed brochure).

Everyone who joins or becomes a renewing member during Protect the Arts Membership Drive (before June 30, 2005) will receive a Columbus County ISA Card, (I Support Arts). Your ISA Card will entitle you to a 10% discount in The Gift Gallery and a discount on admission to CCAC functions.

Remember – Protect the Arts! Help us make a difference in our community and join The Columbus County Arts Council today.

Sincerely,

Lynn Spaulding                                         Terrie Priest
